1) Chapter Board Nominations and Elections:

2) GPA National Conference in Atlanta (November 9-12):
For those of you attending this year's national conference, we are planning two informal occasions for our chapter members to meet up:

--> Wednesday, November 9, 6:30 pm:
During the opening reception, we will gather at the Management Concepts booth, hosted by chapter treasurer Erica Preston, at around 6:30.

We will gather for lunch during the main conference lunch (look for the table with the GPA/NCA sign).

3) Hold the date: December 6, 5-7 pm:
We will host our annual meeting and holiday party on Tuesday, December 6, from 5-7 pm at Cove, 1990 K Street, NW (Farragut West/North). The session will feature a special presentation by Jennifer Ayers on “Doing the Mission: An executive perspective on how to get from here to there.” As a public administrator with 20 years of nonprofit management experience, Ms. Ayers will share how an Executive Director feels when they leave a boardroom, what that means for staff, and how to move from vision to execution -- all helpful for those in the grant writing space who are often the people tasked with explaining how all the pieces work together and finding resources. We will also host our annual business meeting and celebrate the holiday season! More details coming shortly.
